The Reggae Girlz will be without a number of their key players when they take on England in an international friendly set for June 29 at the King Power Stadium.
Jamaica will take on the Lionesses without key players such as Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw, Rebecca Spencer, Sydney Schneider, Taylor Hinds, Jody Brown, Drew Spence, Deneisha Blackwood and Konya Plummer.
Head coach Hubert Busby Jr announced his 20-player squad earlier today.
Busby explained that the players are missing from action due to various reasons such injuries, lack of documentation and players being unavailable for selection.
The match will be the first meeting between the nations and will be used as key tournament preparation.
The Reggae Girlz are preparing for the Concacaf W Qualifiers which begin in October this year, with England preparing for the UEFA European Women's Championship which begins next month.
