Kia Alert Breaks National 11-12 Freestyle Swimming Record

National representative, Kia Alert, was among the record breakers at the recent Neville Alexander swim meet at the National Stadium.

Alert broke the national record in the 11-12 girls’ 50-metres freestyle with a time of 27.28 seconds.

The Hillel High standout is the reigning 11-12 CARIFTA Champion.

Alert also won the 11-12 CARIFTA high point for her age group with 66 points.

That was the highest female tally across the three age groups which competed at the championship.
