National champion, Kishane Thompson, says he’ll not count out breaking the stadium record when he runs in the men’s 100-metres at the 50th staging of the Prefontaine Classic, the ninth stop in the Wanda Diamond League series on Saturday at Hayward Stadium University of Oregon.

The record of 9.80 seconds was set by fellow Jamaican Steve Mullings in 2011.

Thompson will line up against countryman Ackeem Blake, Zharnel Hughes, Christian Coleman Treyvon Bromell.
