The New York Knicks secured a narrow 91-90 victory over champions the Boston Celtics, overcoming a 20 point deficit tat TD Garden on Wednesday to take a 2-nil lead in their NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Josh Hart, 23 points, and Karl Anthont Towns, 21 points and 17 rebounds, led the way for the Knicks, who’ll host game three at Madison Square Garden on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Oaklahoma City Thunder levelled their Western Conference series with Denver Nuggets after a 149-106 victory in game two.
Shai Gilgeous Alexander scored 34 points for the Thunder.
The series now heads to Denver for game three on Saturday.
