Kylie Jenner has officially stepped into the music scene with “Fourth Strike,” a sultry new single by Terror Jr that features her as a vocalist and rapper. The song continues the group’s 2016 viral hit “Three Strikes,” which famously appeared in an early Kylie Cosmetics lip gloss campaign.
Nearly a decade later, Jenner revisits that iconic moment — this time lending her voice to the sequel. On the record, she coos, “One strike, two strike, let me get the mood right,” before rapping, “Do it on purpose just to see how it ends.” The track closes with her whispering her new alter ego, “King Kylie.”
The single doubles as a soundtrack for a new Kylie Cosmetics commercial, reintroducing the teal-haired, rebellious “King Kylie” aesthetic from 2014. In the cinematic ad, Jenner plays a prisoner just released from jail, picked up by her mother Kris Jenner in a black convertible as they ride off into the sunset.
“This King Kylie Collection is truly for you!!!” Jenner wrote on Instagram. “You’re the reason my biggest cosmetic dreams came true, and I wouldn’t be here 10 years later without your support.”
Terror Jr — made up of Lisa Vitale and David “Campa” Singer-Vine — first broke out with “Three Strikes,” which many fans originally thought featured Jenner on vocals. She denied those rumors in 2016, but this new collaboration closes that loop — making the speculation come full circle.
Jenner’s creative streak continues beyond music: she’s set to star in Charli XCX’s upcoming A24 film The Moment, directed by Aidan Zamiri and co-starring Alexander Skarsgård, Rachel Sennott, and Shygirl.
