Kyodi To Release Album Dedicated to His Late Mother

Dancehall star Kyodi is set to release a heartfelt tribute to his late mother in the form of an album. The ‘When Me Nice’ hitmaker says his mother says the love he shares for his late mother is beyond words can describe, and as such he thought it fit to dedicate his latest workpiece to her memory.

The album, which is titled “146” is set to be released on all digital platforms on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

“The album represents a piece of my soul. I encourage all my fans and general musical lovers to support this project. It also has sentimental value because it is dedicated to my late mother,” Stated Kyodi.

Kyodi recently collaborated with felllow entertainer Nhance on a track entitled ‘Born Fi Great’ According to Kyodi, this single is a melting pot of high entertainment value and substance.

“This song is a motivational track with a difference because we never just want fi tell di youths dem fi do di right ting we also wanted our fans to be able enjoy a song dat has all the elements of a hit song. From when we a voice it the studio I could tell that it was going to be a powerful track. Every yute wheh a pree elevation ago rate this track,” Stated Kyodi.

Born Kyodi Green, the Kingston native rose to stardom following his break out hit ‘When Me Nice’ which charted locally and internationally. He has also scored hits such as Asset and Conspiracy, which features Jahmiel. The entertainer has collaborated with the likes of Shane O and Valiant. However, Kyodi has high hopes for this particular collaboration.

“When two bad artistes link up yuh know di rest. This one is a special collab and me just want di fans and di industry give it di strength cause it worth it. Kyodi, the brand is in expansion mode this year suh look out for big announcements and great music” Kyodi stated.

Currently, Kyodi is busy in the studio, adding the finishing touches to his album as well as recording for several top flight producers such as Markus Records and Mappy Nsg.
