Some Labourites in South Manchester are reportedly upset following Robert Chin’s defeat in an internal voting exercise on Sunday.

The incumbent Member of Parliament lost to businessman Ian Ives, affecting his chances of staying on as the JLP standard bearer for the constituency.

In a video obtained by Nationwide News, several residents clad in green were seen voicing their frustration at the decision.

The police were also at the scene.

They were seemingly providing a buffer between the angry labourites and a man seen standing under a tree.

Prominent businessman, Adion Peart, one of the candidates in the selection race, told Nationwide News that the man under the tree was Ian Ives.

According to Mr. Peart, the video was recorded on Sunday after the labourites learnt the outcome of the vote.
