Iconic singer and cultural figure Lauryn Hill has been unveiled as the face of Denim Tears’ Spring/Summer 2026 campaign, marking a striking collaboration between music and fashion.

The campaign debuted Tuesday with a minimalist black-and-white image shared by the brand, featuring Hill dressed in pieces from the upcoming collection. The look highlights Denim Tears’ signature cotton wreath motif, showcased on a denim jacket and matching jeans, layered over a button-up shirt and paired with tinted eyewear. A coordinating hat may also be part of the ensemble, though details remain understated in the preview.

Founded in 2019 by designer Tremaine Emory, Denim Tears has built a reputation for blending streetwear with cultural storytelling, particularly themes rooted in the African diaspora. Emory, who previously served as creative director of Supreme from February 2022 to August 2023, has collaborated with leading creative figures such as Virgil Abloh, Ye, and Frank Ocean.

The Spring/Summer 2026 collection is scheduled for release on April 17 at 11 a.m. ET via the brand’s official website, as well as at select physical locations, including African Diaspora Goods in New York and Denim Tears’ Atlanta residency at Lenox Square.

Hill’s involvement adds a layer of cultural significance to the campaign, aligning with Denim Tears’ ethos of honoring heritage and identity through fashion. Known for her enduring influence in music and style, Hill’s appearance signals a continued intersection of legacy artistry and contemporary design.
