An unemployed Laventille man was murdered on Friday night in a suspected gang related shooting.
Police said Clinton Simmons (commonly called “Bunty”) of Mc Shine Lands, Laventille, was shot dead around 9:50 pm.
Police reported that the 50-year-old man was found dead at a house at Sogren Trace, Laventille after residents reported hearing gunshots.
Police said 16 nine-millimetre spent shells were found at the scene.
Simmons’ killers remain at large.
Investigations are ongoing.
