Liverpool beaten at Anfield

Liverpool suffered a crushing 3-nil defeat at home to Italian side Atalanta in the first leg of their Europa League Quarter-final tie at Anfield today.

Gianluca Scamacca bagged a brace for Atalanta who’ll take this massive advantage back home for the second leg next week.

In other first leg ties German champions in waiting Bayer Leverkusen turned back West Ham United 2-nil, Benfica defeated Olympique Marsellie 2-nil and Roma tagged AC Milan 1-nil.
