Former Everton striker Ademola Lookman scored a stunning hat-trick today to steer Italian side Atalanta to a 3-0 victory over German champions Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Lookman scored in the 12th, 26th and 75th minutes to give Atalanta their first European trophy in 61 years and inflicted on Leverkusen their first defeat of the season spanning 51 games.
Leverkusen will now look to end the season on a high when they face Kaiserslautern in the German Cup final at the Berlin Olympic Stadium on Saturday.
