Olympian Sabrina Lyn will be the first Jamaican in the pool at the Junior PanAm Games when she competes in the women’s 100-metres breaststroke where she’s seated 13th.

The tournament is set for Paraguay from August 9-23.

Lyn placed 7th in the B final of the event in 2021.

For the men, in the 100 metre breaststroke we have the two fastest men in Jamaican history competing Kito Campbell 1-minute-02-point-33 second ranked 6th and Collin McKenzie 1-minute-02-point-23 ranked 5th.

Eyes will be on the clock to see if they can come close to challenging the 1 minute barrier.

In the 100-metre butterfly in 2021 Lyn had placed 7th in the B final with a time of 1-03-point-88 seconds.

She is ranked 5th this time around with a time of 1-minute-00-point-92.

Christanya Shirley is ranked 26th with a time of 1-minute-06-point-17.

In 2021 Nathaniel Thomas was 23rd in the 100 metre butterfly with a time of 58-point-36 seconds.

This year McKenzie is ranked 25th with a time of 57-point-14 seconds.

He recently recorded a personal best in July at the Indiana Senior State Champs with a time of 56-point-11 seconds.
