Man dies in New Grant fire

A 40-year-old man has died in a fire in New Grant on December 7.

The victim is identified as Amarnath Ramnarinesingh.

Newsday understands the fire erupted around 7 pm in the two-storey house he was occupying at Frederick Branch Road.

There has been no confirmation yet on whether there were any further casualties.

Investigations are ongoing.
