Head coach of defending champions Manchester Spurs Dalton Hinds has expressed delight at making it to the finals of the Red Stripe Flavours Netball Jamaica Elite League competition.
The Spurs booked their spot in the championship decider after beating St. Ann Orchids in a very close playoff game 36-35.
Hinds who’s also one of the country’s leading umpires, credits the mental toughness of his unit.
Hinds also highlighted the unity of the group as one of the key to their successes so far this season.
The two time champions are now awaiting the winner of the St. Ann Orchids and the Kingston Hummingbirds clash.
According to Hinds captain Zaudi Green has led from the front and has been a source of inspiration for the other players. This, he believes has propelled the team to grow from strength to strength.
