Champions Manchester Spurs and Under-21 Shiners were the winners in Sunday’s round of matches in the Red Stripe Flavours Elite Netball League at the Stadium courts.
The Shiners, who are using the tournament as part of their preparation for the 2025 Netball Youth World Cup, beat St. Catherine Racers 33-48 to register their second win of the season.
Coach of the Shiners, Annette Daley, says the players are auditioning for a spot on the team.
Daley says she’s not surprised by the 15-point win.

Meanwhile the Spurs came away with a narrow 47-42 win over Kingston Hummingbirds.
In a game that saw the lead change continuously between the teams, the Spurs were able to secure the victory in the final three minutes.
