International recording artist Maricia Ramed has released a very heartwarming single entitled “Heal Jamaica”. The single, which is produced by Ramed Studios, is what she describes as music for the soul and is aimed at uplifting the spirits of the Jamaicans who were adversely affected by Hurricane Melissa. According to the artist, she felt morally obligated to offer her voice to her people in this turbulent time.
“It’s very tough to process how much damage has been done to the economy of Jamaica by this horrible Hurricane. However, Jamaicans are strong and resilient people. As such, we will rise again. A major part of the rebuilding process is mental because once there is a will, there is a way. This song is meant to offer comfort and motivation to those affected directly and to Jamaicans in general. God knows best, and we shall rise again together,” stated Maricia Ramed.
The St. Catherine native who now resides in the United States has been enjoying a career boost following the success of her breakout single, entitled Meow Kitty and Rodeo, which has been racking up views on YouTube. The singjay says she plans to continue assisting those affected in every way she can.
Currently, Maricia Ramed is busy promoting her Heal Jamaica single as well as recording new music for Ramed Studios.
