JLP caretaker for North East Manchester, Ambassador Audrey Marks, is rubbishing suggestions from the PNP that water tanks she’s promised to party workers will be purchased with state funds.
She’s describing the claims as mischief.
Over the weekend, Marks noted that 50 tanks would be distributed to JLP party workers, with more to come.
PNP caretaker for the constituency, Valenton Wint, said he hopes the initiative isn’t being funded by the state.
He also described the move as politically divisive.
But, in a media release on Tuesday, Marks said she does not depend on the government to fund her projects.
The ambassador says she’s simply meeting the needs of her constituents.
