The JLP’s prospective candidate for North East Manchester, Ambassador Audrey Marks, says the development of the constituency’s eco-tourism potential will be among her first priorities if she’s elected later this year.
Ambassador Marks is expected to face off against the PNP’s Valenton Wint, in the closely watched race to replace Audley Shaw in the seat.
The PNP is eyeing North East Manchester as a possible pick up in their quest to gain 18 seats to form government while holding on to the 14 they now have.
The JLP has vowed to strongly defend North East Manchester.
Marks was tapped to represent the governing party in the seat, following a protracted delay in naming a candidate.
She says she accepted the call to enter representational politics in order to serve the country.
