Mavado supports PNP after debate showdown

Following a heated debate between Prime Minister Andrew Holness and Opposition Leader Mark Golding, Dancehall artist Mavado is showing his support for the PNP.

During the debate, Golding pulled out his Jamaican birth certificate after the Prime Minister questioned his citizenship. The moment quickly turned into a meme across social media.

Mavado joined the trend, posting the viral image of Golding holding his birth paper with the caption, “If I send you this it means I’m a born Jamaican and I’m coming home.” He added emojis including a fist bump, a flame, the Jamaican flag, and tagged Golding.
