Jamaica’s national senior men’s football team and Guadeloupe will be seeking their first win of the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup when both teams meet in a group “C” encounter at the Paypal Park in California, on Friday.

This will be the second meeting between the two nations in the Gold Cup.

They first played each other in the 2021 edition, when the Reggae Boyz claimed a 2-1 victory in Orlando, Florida.

The Reggae Boyz are undefeated all-time against Guadeloupe in eight encounters, with six victories in their favour.

The Boyz are coming off a 1-nil loss against Guatemala in their opening match, while Guadeloupe were beaten 5-2 by Panama.

Coach of the Reggae Boyz, Steve McClaren, says they have to put that defeat behind them.
