McGregor Declines to Comment on Alleged Lawrence Rowe Assault

People’s National Party, PNP, caretaker for Central Kingston, Steve McGregor, has declined to speak on the record about the alleged assault by his supporters of former caretaker, Lawrence Rowe.

The incident reportedly took place on Monday night when Rowe attempted to record a video of McGregor’s supporters as they engaged in what he claims was an act of vandalism.

According to Rowe, he was forced to arm himself with a knife when, hours after the original dispute had been settled, a man claiming to be one of Mr. McGregor’s supporters attacked him and grabbed his shirt.

Mr McGregor says Rowe should reach out to the police regarding the incident. He says he does not have much information regarding the matter, so he does not want to speak on it.

Rowe has filed a report with the Allman Town Police.
