McLeod, Clayton Among 10 Jamaicans to Compete in Rome

2016 Olympic sprint hurdles champion, Omar McLeod, is among 10-Jamaicans down to compete at the Rome Diamond League meeting, on Friday.

McLeod will run in his pet event where he’ll be joined by compatriot Orlando Bennett.

Two-time World Championships bronze medallist, Rushell Clayton, forms part of a trio of Jamaicans who will contest the 400-metres hurdles.

The other two are Andrenette Knight and Shiann Salmon.

Paris Olympics silver medallist, Shanieka Ricketts, will be Jamaica’s standard-bearer in the triple jump.

Romain Beckford and Raymond Richards will line up in the high jump.

Olympic Champion Rajindra Campbell will contest the shot put and the long jump will feature Carey McLeod.
