Medical Professionals Gather in Belize City for Annual Health Congress

Doctors, dentists, specialists and other healthcare professionals from across Belize are in Belize City for the Belize Medical and Dental Association’s Annual Medical Congress. The three-day event, being held at the Belize Biltmore Plaza, brings together local and international experts to discuss current issues in medicine and the future of healthcare. The congress also coincides with the silver anniversary of the National Health Insurance programme, which is marking 25 years of service. Reporter Paul Diaz has the story.
