Right arm medium pacer Jaden Edmund has single handedly ripped through the heart of the Jamaica Scorpions batting as they reached 101 for 5 at sports time on day one of their seventh round West Indies Championship encounter against the Combines Campuses and College team at the Sir Frank Worrel Ground in Trinidad.
Edmund has so far taken all five wickets for 54 runs with captain John Campbell making eight, Brandon King, 4, Jermaine Blackwood a duck and Javelle Glenn, 5.
Brad Barnes is not out 31 and Aldaine Thomas scored 21.
At the Queens Park Oval in Port of Spain the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force are 55 for 3 against champions the Guyana Harpy Eagles. Keemo Paul has so far taken all three wickets for 24 runs.
Over at Coolidge the Windward Islands Volcanoes reached 92 for 7 against the West Indies Academy. While the Leeward Islands Hurricanes were 3 without loss against the Barbados Pride at Warner Park.
