⁠Mico Advances to Eastern Division Finals in Community Basketball

Defending champions Mico Wasps advanced to the Eastern Division final following their 81-51 win over Caribbean Maritime University in Game-2 of their best of three semi-final, at the Exed Court, Tuesday night.

The win helped the Wasps secure the series 2-0.

Nikolai Brown led all scorers with 21 points and 13 rebounds, while Omar Barnes had 14 points and 5 steals for the Wasps.

Meanwhile, home team Exed Heats beat Papine Kings 59-44 to level their best of three series at 1-1.

Richmoor Morris top scored for the Heats with 16 points, with Omari Green scoring 10 and grabbing 13 rebounds.

The tournament continues with the game two of the Western Division semi-finals Calabar court, on Wednesday.

In semi-final one, Wolverines will seek to close out the series when they take on Delacree Park at 6 pm.

Meanwhile, Grants Pen Giants will seek to force a game three when they take on the Caribbean Basketball Association in semi-final two.
