Mighty Mike honoured for IRIE 35

July 27 marked what would have been the 66th birthday of IRIE FM’s late legendary radio personality, Mighty Mike.

As part of IRIE 35 celebrations, we remember an icon.

Born in Mandeville, Manchester, Michael Jones, affectionately known as Mighty Mike, was part of IRIE FM since 1992.

Beyond radio, Mighty Mike was also a nightclub owner, stage show promoter, and record producer.
