Minister Coye Declines Comment on Toledo Credit Union Dispute

Another weigh in that Minister Coye made, was on the issue down south involving the Toledo Credit Union and Area Representative, Dr. Osmond Martinez.  Coye shied away from making any detailed criticism or opinion on the issue, claiming that he knows very little of the situation in Toledo.

Christopher Coye, Minister of State (Finance): “I am not familiar with the particulars of what you raise. But I do believe that the minister has spoken on it. And I would leave it at that. I can’t speak to something I don’t know about. I can’t speak for the Central Bank, nor the Financial Intelligence Unit. You’d have to speak with them. But I understood that this was something, this was an audit being done at the level of the credit union, not the Central Bank nor the FIU.”
