Miss Earth Belize 2026 Launches With Focus on Environmental Advocacy

Miss Earth Belize 2026 has been officially launched, marking the beginning of this year’s programme focused on environmental advocacy, leadership and the empowerment of young Belizean women. During the launch, organizers introduced this year’s delegates and outlined the activities planned for pageant week ahead of the national pageant.  Throughout the week, the delegates will participate in community outreach and educational initiatives aimed at raising awareness of environmental issues affecting Belize. Organizers say the experience is designed to help the young women strengthen their advocacy, develop leadership skills and use their platforms to promote conservation and sustainability. The delegate crowned Miss Earth Belize 2026 will go on to represent Belize at the International Miss Earth pageant in November. Finance Director Wendy Castillo says the programme provides participants with an opportunity to develop their voices and become ambassadors for environmental awareness and positive change.

The launch also recognized the programme’s corporate and institutional partners. Representatives from Madisco, The National Channel, Belize Water Services Limited, the Department of the Environment, QuickStop Finance Center and Digi participated in a symbolic cheque presentation, highlighting their support for this year’s initiative.  For the reigning Miss Earth Belize, Paris Cawich, the experience has been one of growth and purpose. She reflected on her journey over the past year and the opportunity she has had to represent Belize while championing environmental awareness.

This year’s Miss Earth Belize is being held under the theme, “Beauty with Purpose, Action for Earth”.  The pageant starts at seven o’clock on Saturday at the Belize City Civic Center.
