Police in San Ignacio have confirmed the death of Edward Rupert Rodney Burke, a 50-year-old British national who was previously reported missing. According to a missing person’s report issued by Crime Stoppers on October 15, Burke was last seen on Friday, October 10. Tragically, his decomposed body was discovered in the Macal River, in the Cayo District. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death to determine how he ended up in the water.
