Moca FC Books CCC Spot With CFU Shield Win

The groups of the CONCACAF Caribbean Cup have been settled following Sunday’s final of the CFU Club Shield football competition.

In the final, Moca FC of Dominican Republic beat Weymouth Wales from Barbados.

The result means Moca FC joins Jamaica’s Mount Pleasant Academy, SV Robinhood of Suriname, O-and-M from Dominican Republic and Central FC out of Trinidad and Tobago, in Group A of the Caribbean Cup.

Group B will feature, Weymouth Wales, Cavalier FC of Jamaica, Cibao FC from Dominican Republic, Defence Force out of Trinidad and Tobago and Juventus De Cayes from Haiti.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals of the competition.

The two finalists and the winner of the third-place playoff will qualify for the 2026 CONCACAF Champions Cup.

Mount Pleasant Academy’s first Group Stage Games will be SV Robinhood on August 19.

In the meantime, Cavalier will take on Cibao in their first group match.
