Newly appointed head coach of Montego Bay United, Xavier Gilbert, explained that pre-season preparation hasn’t entirely gone to plan.
However, he’s confident that his charges will be ready and raring to go when the season kicks off next Sunday.
Last season, Montego Bay United reached the semi-final stages of the competition before they were ousted by Mount Pleasant.
According to Gilbert, he’s comfortable with the squad assembled ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Montego Bay United are notorious for sacking coaches, however, the veteran coach believes this is just part and parcel of the game of football.
