Former champions Montego Bay United are up to second in the Wray and Nephew Jamaica/Premier league standings following their 2-0 win over Molynes United at the Tony Spaulding Complex on Monday.
Jourdain Fletcher gave them the lead on 47 minutes before former Jamaica College star Shaniel Thomas made the game safe with a 52nd minute strike.
Montego Bay United are now on 37 points the same as Arnett Gardens, however the western Jamaica-based team has a better goal difference.
Meanwhile, champions Cavalier had to come from behind to earn a point in their 1-1 draw with Racing United.
Tajay Grant’s 28th minute strike gave Racing the lead but Richard King equalized for Cavalier in the 77th minute.
Cavalier remain fourth on 32 points.
