More Than 25 Chromebooks Stolen From Lucky Strike School

Police are investigating a burglary at Lucky Strike Government School, where thieves reportedly broke into the school’s office over the weekend and stole resources intended for students.  In a social media post, the school administration described the incident as disheartening, stressing that the institution is more than simply a building, it is a place dedicated to providing children with education, opportunities and essential resources.  The school said that when someone steals from an educational institution, the students are ultimately the victims, since they are deprived of materials intended to support their learning and development.  Administrators are urging residents to help protect the school and to report any information that could assist with the investigation. They also appealed for the community to stand together and safeguard the resources belonging to its children.  The school has not disclosed what items were stolen or the estimated value of the loss, our newsroom, however, has ascertained that over 25 Chromebooks were stolen among other items.
