The PNP is proposing to introduce a digital system similar to the National Identification System, NIDS, if it should form the next government.
The plan is referenced in the party’s election manifesto, Mission Jamaica Love.
Member of the JLP’s campaign committee, Dr. Dana Morris Dixon made the observation on Thursday when the JLP presented its analysis of the Opposition’s proposals.
She pointed out that the PNP not only opposed NIDS when it was first introduced, but challenged in court in 2019.
