Motorcyclist Dies Weeks After Belize City Traffic Accident

Twenty-six-year-old Mario Manic Fuller has died from injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Belize City last month. The collision occurred shortly after one o’clock on the afternoon of August 29 at the intersection of Flamboyant Street and Marigold Street. Police say 38-year-old Alex Isaiah Baptist was driving a Nissan Altima along Flamboyant Street when Fuller, who was riding a Ninja motorcycle along Marigold Street, entered the intersection.  According to the police report, Fuller allegedly failed to stop and give way to the Nissan Altima, resulting in his motorcycle colliding with the front of the car. The impact reportedly caused Fuller to fall from the motorcycle and lose consciousness.  Fuller, a mechanic of Eagle Jam Estate in Sandhill Village, was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, where he remained under treatment.
