Mount Pleasant Academy have restored their seven point lead in the Wray and Nephew/Jamaica Premier League following a 5-0 thrashing of Humble Lion at the Montego Bay Sports Complex on Monday.
Daniel Green bagged a hatrick for the St. Ann-based team, who also got goals from Alex Marshall and Jowell Howell.
Mount Pleasant are now on 58 points, seven ahead of Arnett Gardens on 51.
Montego Bay United remain third on 48 points thanks to a 3-1 win over Tivoli Gardens in the day’s other game.
Captain Owayne Gordon, Jordon Britto and Jourdane Fletcher were on target for Montego Bay while Nickalia Fuller scored Tivoli’s consolation.
