Dancehall star Mr. Vegas made his debut on the political campaign trail on Sunday, criticizing former Prime Minister PJ Patterson for his role in the FINSAC debacle.
Dressed in a green hat, white trousers and a green polo shirt bearing the image of MP Heroy Clarke, Mr. Vegas addressed the JLP workers conference in the constituency of Central St. James.
Mr. Vegas, who these days spends much of his time in the United States, praised Jamaicans here at home for surviving so-called ‘PNP-ism’.
