Muffles College Staff Member Placed on Leave Over Misconduct Allegation Involving Minor

Muffles College has placed a staff member on administrative leave while it investigates an allegation of misconduct involving a female student who is a minor. The administration says it received the report on October 6. According to the school, police and the Department of Social Services are also investigating.  In a statement, the college says it is taking the allegation seriously and recognises the distress the matter has caused among students, parents and staff. It says it will cooperate fully with investigators and follow the required procedures to ensure everyone involved is treated fairly.  The statement does not give details of the alleged misconduct, citing the sensitive nature of the matter. The administration says it remains responsible for protecting its students and is asking anyone with factual information to contact the Board of Governors’ chairperson at bogchairperson@mufflescollege.com.
