UK-based dancehall artiste Tuggawar and Canadian-based dancehall artiste Aneesa Badshaw have released a collaborative effort entitled “Murda She Wrote”. The single is a remake of Chakka Demus and Pliers’ global hit “Murda She Wrote,” and based on the initial feedback on social media, it is being very well received.
“Recording this song was such a great vibe. Tuggawar is a fun and talented artist, so the process of doing the collab was super easy and exciting. I have high hopes for this track” stated Badshaw.
According to Aneesa Badshaw, she is always open to collaborating with other artistes because she believes that it is great for the industry and is more often than not beneficial to all parties. Badshaw, whose recent collaboration with dancehall star Pumputtae gained the stamp of approval from hip hop superstar Nicki Minaj, says she hopes her latest feature will have a similar effect.
“I believe merging sounds is very good for the culture and it makes the music more appealing globally. As such, I am always open to collaborating once energies align,” stated Badshaw.
Currently, Murder She Wrote by Tuggawar and Aneesa Badshaw is available on all major digital platforms. The single was produced by Stu Brooks and Sholz.
