Naggo Head Leads Central Champs Heading into Final Day

Twenty-nine events are scheduled for Wednesday’s final day of the three day INSPORTS/Devon Biscuits Primary Schools Central Athletics Championships at the G.C Foster College.

Naggo Head won three of the eight relays, all in championship record time, on Tuesday’s second day to move to 89 points from 11 finals, 12 ahead of nearest rivals Greater Portmore.

Defending champions Spanish Town are third.

Naggo Head secured the class four boys 4-by-100 metres title in record time.

Naggo Head also broke the record in the class three girls 4-by-100 metres relay, erasing the mark set by the same team on day one of the competition.

Their third record on the day came in the class two girls sprint relay.

Significantly the time run by the girls was faster than the winning time recorded by the class two boys.
