Naomi Cowan says JUNO win reflects women’s voice in every space

Reggae singer Naomi Cowan says her JUNO Award win reflects the importance of recognizing that women have a voice in every space.

Speaking during a post-award press conference, Naomi Cowan described the achievement as both personal and meaningful beyond the music.

She secured her first JUNO Award for Welcome To Paradise, earning the title for Best Reggae Recording.

The 50th staging of the Juno Awards took place in Hamilton at the TD Coliseum (formerly FirstOntario Centre) in Ontario, Canada on Saturday.
