National Schoolgirls Basketball Championship Postponed Due to Rain

The final of the National Schoolgirls Basketball Championship between Camperdown and the Queens School was halted by heavy showers midway the second quarter at Mount Alvernia High court, on Monday.

Manchester High and host school Mount Alvernia are the other schools that participated.

In the first round match-up Camperdown got by Mount. Alvernia 34-22, while The Queens got a walk over Manchester High who did not take the court.

When play was halted in the final The Queen School lead Camperdown 21-10 almost midway the second quarter.

A new date for the replaying of the final will be announced shortly.
