Netball Jamaica AGM Set For July

The five year wait for the annual general meeting of Netball Jamaica appears to be finally over.

The governing body for Netball says the AGM is set for the Summit Hotel on Chelsea Avenue, on Tuesday.

2021 was the last time the association hosted an AGM.

The association was unable to host the AGM without the audited financial report.

Tricia Robinson’s position as president and A total of 9 other directors, including the executive, will be elected at the upcoming meeting.

Positions on the executive to be filled include President, First and Second Vice President, and Treasurer.

The president as well as the directors can only serve three 2-year terms.

Karen Baugh is the only person to indicate her desire to run for president of the association.

Baugh says an administration run by her will be focus on Jamaica being ranked number one in the world.
