Newly elected president of Netball Jamaica Karen Baugh says tackling netball at the parish level is one of the main areas of focus for her administration.
Baugh a long time marketing and sponsorship director at the Association was elected unopposed at the Annual General Meeting on Saturday .
Baugh will be joined by first vice president Simone Forbes, second vice-president Dwayne Gutzmer and Elaine Walters as treasurer.
The executive is completed by six directors: Tashike Salmon, Derrick Brown, Karen Whinstanley, Karlene Waugh, Suzette Townsend and Denise Palmer.
Baugh says preparation is also well underway for Jamaica’s under-21 Sunshine Girls who are gearing up for the Netball Youth World Cup in Gibraltar set to tip off in September.
Baugh also wants to elevate the standards of the local Elite League.
