New Non-Stop Flights from North Carolina to Jamaica Through Avelo Airlines

Avelo Airlines has expanded it services to Jamaica with new non-stop flights from Raleigh-Durham in North Carolina.

The new nonstop flights from Raleigh-Durham International Airport ,RDU, in North Carolina to Sangster International Airport, MBJ, in Montego Bay, will be starting on Wednesday February 12, 2025.

The service will be operational twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays using a Boeing 737 aircraft.

Senior advisor and strategist in the Ministry of Tourism, Delano Seiveright, says this follows Avelo’s first-ever international route launch between Hartford, Connecticut and Montego Bay in November last year.

He says this signals that the airline has confidence in Jamaica’s tourism product.

The Raleigh-Durham flights offer fares starting at US$129 one-way, this excludes fees and taxes.

Avelo Airlines, founded in 2021, has rapidly expanded its network, with Jamaica playing a key role in its growth strategy.
