New Providence Primary will be making their debut at the annual Northwest Track and Field Classic in Miami, USA, from June 8-9.
The Barbican-based school will be taking 13 athletes competing in 100, 200 and 4-by-100 metres. They’ll also contest the javelin and shot put.
Coach of Providence, Nicola Guy Chin, says the main objective is to give the athletes some international exposure.
Chin says she expect her athletes to be on the podium.
