Leading enterprise technology company, Productive Business Solutions Limited, PBS, says it has reached an agreement to acquire Xerox Holdings Corporation.

Xerox is an American corporation that sells print and digital document products and services.

The agreement will see PBS acquiring Xerox’s businesses in Peru and Ecuador.

In a statement on the Jamaica Stock Exchange on Wednesday, PBS disclosed that following the acquisition it will become the exclusive distribution partner for Xerox in Peru and Ecuador.

Both companies will continue to operate as subsidiaries of PBS.

Chairman of PBS, P.B. Scott says they have proudly worked in partnership with Xerox for over two decades.

He says during this time, they’ve consistently delivered a comprehensive suite of products and professional services to their valued clients across Central America, the Caribbean and South America.

Mr. Scott says the strategic expansion in Peru and Ecuador further solidifies their presence in Latin America, extending their footprint to a total of 24 countries and bolstering the company’s workforce to over 3,000 IT professionals.

The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2024 pending authorisation from the Ecuadorian competition authority.
