President of the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica, PSOJ, Metry Seaga, says the business community is grateful for the nine consecutive fiscal years of no new taxes.
Mr. Seaga was reacting to the 2024-2025 Budget presentation of finance minister, Dr. Nigel Clarke in the House of Representatives on Tuesday.
Overall, Mr Seaga says Dr. Clarke’s presentation was measured and responsible.

Meanwhile, president of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise, MSME Alliance, Donovan Wignal, says the budget was well thought out. But adds that he was looking for more on low income housing.
