Coach of Jamaica’s under-21 netball team, Annette Daley, says their three-match series against the South African counterparts was a good indicator of the girls’ fitness ahead of the Youth World Cup in Gibraltar, in September.
The young Sunshine Girls lost all three match in the series.
Daley says the series has highlighted the weak areas of the girls.
Daley says she doesn’t see the series sweep as a disappointment.

Meanwhile, minister of sports, Olivia Grange, says her ministry has set aside $6.4 millions to assist with the team’s preparation for the World Cup. Minister Grange says a further $1 million was put aside to help with travel expenses.
