Labourites in North East Manchester have reportedly extended a warm welcome to Senator Audrey Marks.
Senator Marks, who the Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, is expected to name as its standard-bearer for the constituency, attended an impromptu workers meeting at Christ Church in Christiana Tuesday afternoon.

Senator Marks was accompanied on Tuesday by members of the party leadership, including Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness, General Secretary Dr Horace Chang, and Deputy General Secretary Dr. Andrew Wheatley.
Dr. Chang says Senator Marks’ potential candidacy bodes well for the party’s fortunes in the seat.
